Senior Contracts Manager , Project Manager
Salary: Circa £55,000
Location: UK Wide
Our client is a regional contractor, with divisions operating within the building, fit-out and special solutions sectors. A position has become available for a lead Contracts / Commercial Manager within the refurbishment sector. The role will involve surveying, tendering and new business generating, and overseeing projects as a contracts manager, in a senior management position. You will be the driving force behind the company`s success within the region. Project types are completely flexible as the company looks to continue growth, the contacts and experience you can bring to the table will affect the direction the company can take. The main purpose of the role will be to use existing projects and leads to break into the South East market, eventually setting up an office in the region. You will be based in a satellite office and working on existing projects, until further projects come in. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the construction fit-out environment, whether commercial, residential or public sector. You will have experience working for a main contractor, from within a commercial or operational background, but must be able to run both aspects, reporting in at Director level. The successful candidate will be driven, self motivated, and able to take a hands on role in chasing leads and bringing in business, as well as ensuring the delivery of projects.
